Two rival Sean Connery lookalikes are locked
in a bizarre slanging match over who is the best impersonator of the scots
movie superstar. The bearded pair who both cash in on pretending to be
Scotland's most famous actor are involved in a cat-fight which would make
Dr.No look like Pussey Galore.Professional double John Allen 58 is current
holder of an oscar-style award for the Most Impressive Impersonation of a
Screen Legend.The American pipped Robert Deniro,john wayne, and Jack
Nicholson Look-alikes at a glitzy Las Vegas ceremony to lift the coveted
title. His career has taken him around the world and into the company of
Connery eight years ago.Now he is set to crack the British market.But
Scotland's first Connery impersonator Douglas McEwan warned him to back off
or else..The pairs rivalry has become so heated that Douglas has warned
John not to muscle in on his territory. Douglas runs a construction company
in Barrhead.John Allen is farther of two and holds the Cloney Award for Most
Outstanding Impersonation of a Legend, picked up in Las Vegas at the
Stardust Casino last month.
